Placement for your ISS Class you have been placed at
Bingham Elementary School, 121 Bingham St., 48912,
as a tutor in the after-school program. This program runs on both Thursday
and Friday after-school, so you can negotiate with Jason Bremer, After-
School Program Coordinator, as to which day will work the best.
Bingham Elementary is easily reached by CATA bus from campus:
– Board the Route 1 CATA bus on the “store side” of Grand River Avenue,
across from campus, or, if you are coming from Brody, on Michigan Ave.,
near the Quality Dairy.
– Take the Route 1 CATA bus west down Michigan Ave. to Sparrow Hospital.
– There are 2 bus stops near the front of Sparrow. Exit the bus at the
second one/the one just past the hospital entrance, (but before
– Cross Michigan Ave.
– You will see a small side street named Bingham. You will be able to see
the school from the corner (on the left/east side of Bingham Street.)
– Enter through the front door.

There are several MSU students going to Bingham after school, so you will
be able to travel on the bus with other MSU students.
